President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has made two appointments to the Commission formed to investigate issues relating to the former government’s housing schemes.
Appointed on Monday are Sheereen Nahidha Latheef and Fathmath Rasheedha, both native to capital city Male’.
The appointments follow the resignation of former members Fathmath Saira and Nuzha Aleem.
The President’s Office revealed that with the appointment, the total members of the committee which investigates some housing schemes including the “Hiyaa” housing scheme, “Gedhoruveri Kurun” and “Gulhifalhu” housing project, reaches five.
The members are Sheereen, Rasheedha, Mohamed Muizzu Adnan, Ahmed Tholal, and Ali Shuhail Mohamed, who is a lawyer representing the Attorney General’s office.
