UI Hotels has announced that it has stopped using plastic.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, UI Hotels Managing Director Moosa Nasih said their hotel and café have now stopped using plastic material.

Nasih said that UI Hotels wants to be environment-friendly and that they have been planning to make the switch for a while.

Nasih said that they have completely stopped using plastic bottles, bags, and other plastic items.

He also said that they have begun using a Reverse Osmosis water purification system and are working to install solar panels.

UI Hotels is a popular hotel for tourists and has been MATATO Travel Awards’ Leading Guesthouse for two consecutive years.
