Maldives Third Way Democrats (MTD) is to hold their inaugural assembly on Monday night.
The newly established party will convene for their first assembly at 9:00pm, where they will pass their party procedural rules and appoint a council.
The MTD was official registered with the Elections Commission on 18th November, with 3,333 members.
The commission can only register parties with no less than 3,000 members. Asif was given permission to establish a party in late November.
The commission will be monitoring this assembly.
