President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has on Tuesday appointed Ahmed Numan as the Commissioner General of Customs.
Numan, native to Addu city Hithadhoo, was presented his letter of appointment at the President’s Office.
The Commissioner General of Customs is a ministerial level position.
Numan took oath of office in front of Supreme Court Judge Abdulla Areef.
He previously served in STELCO as well as the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure as state utilities company FENAKA Corporation’s Chairman during the initiation of the company,
