President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed three Ministers of State on Tuesday.
Appointed were Abdulla Rasheed Hassan as Minister of State for Education, Mohamed Hashim as Minister of State for Higher Education and Abdulla Naseer as Minister of State for Environment.
President Solih made these appointments under the powers and responsibilities vested to him in article 115 (f) of the Maldives constitution.
Letters of appointment were handed to all three new State Ministers at a ceremony held at the President’s Office on Tuesday.
With these appointments, President Solih now has a total of 29 Ministers of State and his Cabinet of Ministers comprise of 20 Ministers.
