Former Foreign Minister, Ahmed Naseem has been appointed as a Minister at the President’s Office.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih handed Naseem his letter of appointment at a special ceremony on Monday evening.
Naseem was the foreign minister in President Mohamed Nasheed’s administration and also contributed to Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) by holding discussions with members of the international community.
President Solih has also appointed Ali Shiyam as a minister at the President’s Office and Adhaalath Party’s deputy leader Ali Zahir as Chief of Staff.
