Maldives newly-elected President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has made appointments to top posts at the President’s office on Saturday.

The seven appointees presented their credentials to the President at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office on Saturday.

The seven appointees are:

  • Hussain Amir as Secretary of Corporate Services
  • Ahmed Hassan Didi as Secretary of Cabinet Affairs
  • Hussain Adam as Deputy Chief of Staff
  • Aminath Shauna as Secretary of Policy
  • Ahmed Abdulla Afeef as Legal Counsel to the President
  • Hassan Ismail as Secretary of Communications
  • Sabra Ibrahim Nooradeen as Secretary of Foreign Relations

All seven were appointed to the State Minister level.
