Telecommunications giant Ooredoo Maldives has launched SuperNet Fixed Broadband services in Maamigili island of Alif Dhaal atoll which include swift speed packages.

The giant’s Director of Sales and Brand, Hussain Niyaz stated that a surprising increase in economic and social enhancement has been observed through the introduction of swift speed broadband internet services. He stated that the company’s biggest motive for now is to provide services of broadband internet, at a swift speed, to citizens all over the nation, having received the license to provide fixed internet.

Launching the services, Director Niyaz also stated that it gives him immense joy to be able to pave way for citizens, the opportunity to use internet services at a swift speed in Maamigili island.

Along with the broadband services, Ooredoo has also introduced special offers to residents of Maamigili. As such, the company revealed that no activation fees or deposits will be taken from customers in order to efficiently provide internet service for them.

Ooredoo provides broadband packages ranging from a speed of two to 100 mbps. Some of the packages included in this service have been optimized specially to perfect the streaming of popular applications among Maldivians such as Facebook, YouTube, Netflix and many more.

With this introduction, Maamigili residents may use internet at an affordable price. Ooredoo has also paved way for customers to purchase their SuperNet routers as part of a 12-month installment plan.
