Women from Thimarafushi island of Thaa atoll have on Saturday visited RaajjeTV with ceremonial food to commend the hard work of the station’s employees.
Speaking to the employees at the small ceremony held on Saturday evening, one of the island residents said that they appreciate the resilient work of the station’s employees and management to bring latest news to the people without fear.
Stating that the ceremonial foods were a gift to commend the station’s hard work, the resident said that RaajjeTV has proven itself to be an extraordinary example, from the occurrences of the Presidential Election held on the 23rd of September.
Speaking at the event, RaajjeTV’s Chief Operating Officer Hussain Fiyaz Moosa stated that the reason behind RaajjeTV’s success is none other than the resident’s earnest prayers and well wishes. Highlighting the affection and support received from islands all across the nation, Fiyaz said that the station will be resilient in its works to bring satisfactory content to the people.
Among the ceremonial food were traditional Maldivian snacks as well as “Bondibai” a sweet, sticky rice made to commemorate special occasions in the Maldives.
