Official election results to be publicized before end of month

Elections Commission (EC) has stated that the official results of the 2018 presidential election will be publicized before the end of the month.
Speaking at a press conference after the polling stations closed, EC chief Ahmed Shareef said they will begin disclosing the official results from Sunday onwards.
Shareef said that the election was held peacefully and without any remarkable events, just as he had hoped, and thanked the public for their support.
EC stated that the results will reflect the decision made by voters.
