Solih and Naseem had split into two teams to cover more atolls by the end of the campaign

MP Mariya Ahmed Didi, the spokesperson of the Joint Opposition presidential candidate, has revealed that candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his running mate, Faisal Naseem have visited 127 islands and met over 200,000 island residents in their campaign.

Speaking at a press conference, MP Mariya said their objective is to cover every single island in the nation before the presidential election and that they have only three atolls left to visit, which are Haa Alif, Gaaf Alif, and Gaaf Dhaalu atolls.

She also expressed concern over the voter’s list to be publicized by the Elections Commission, saying that members of the coalition will only sign the list once it is amended and perfected.
