A woman from Feydhoo who has been dead for seven years have been registered to vote in Colombo, reported Addu Live.
This was confirmed when typing her ID card number to 1414 and sending an SMS.
A subsequent reply confirms that she has been registered to: W03.1.1 – Srilanka Colombo 1 R1 Box.
This was revealed by a man conducting a check for electoral fraud. He has said that the issue has been reported to the Elections Commission.
