The opposition coalition’s presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his running mate Faisal Naseem are the only leaders who can bring wanted change to Maldives, says former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel.
In a tweet on Saturday, Dr. Jameel predicted that they will achieve a clear majority on the first round of the presidential election.
Dr. Jameel, the first vice president of the current administration added that Solih and Faisal will establish a government that will overcome the tyranny in the nation.

Elections Commission has recently approved Solih and Faisal’s candidacy for September’s election.
President Abdulla Yameen’s government has been involved in various controversies and been repeatedly accused of corruption. President Yameen has also been heavily criticized for failing to fulfill his pledges nearing the end of his term.
Campaign teams from the opposition coalition parties have been travelling across the country to increase their support for the elections.
