Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has postponed its parade to Sunday evening.
The decision to postpone the parade, initially scheduled for Saturday evening, was made due to the festivities for the 53rd Independence Day being postponed to Saturday night.
The defense force stated that the parade will be held at 4pm on Sunday in Male’ City.

The defense force has stated that the parade will begin at MNDF headquarters near Republic Square and move around the city before returning to Republic Square.
A map of the parade’s designated route has been released, and traffic is to be controlled accordingly.
The government has made next Sunday a public holiday.
