Schools are to reopen on Sunday, after being closed off for 10 days, due to the recent H1N1 outbreak.

The Ministry of Education on Thursday released a press statement announcing that that school sessions will reconvene on Sunday.

The Ministry announced that school’s will be closed due to the H1N1 outbreak on March 14, three days prior to the mid-semester break.

A statement released by the Ministry on Thursday asked parents not to send any students with flu-like symptoms to classes, and to seek medical attention for the child immediately.

It emphasized that it was working alongside the Health Protection Agency (HPA), as well as acting under their guidance.
