Dhiraagu celebrates closing ceremony of 'global hackathon series' in Maldives
Winners will now become part of the global HACKcelerator program
HACKcelerator is an invite-only 12-week accelerator program

Dhiraagu celebrated the closing ceremony of 'largest global hackathon series' in Maldives yesterday.

‘Angelhack’ Hackathon Maldives organized by Dhiraagu and Sparkhub has announced the winner of the of the competition at the closing ceremony held to commemorate the ending of the first AngelHack. Group FinWice emerged as winners and will now become part of the global HACKcelerator program upon successful graduation. They will get an exclusive invite to San Francisco for Silicon Valley week and a chance to pitch at Global Demo Day.

The HACKcelerator is an invite-only 12-week accelerator program. Which provides mentorship with the help of global mentors by helping to turn projects into viable startups and providing direct access to the global demo day.

One of the participants from the winning team FinWice said “We are extremely happy to win AngleHack Maldives and getting the exclusive invitation to the global Hackcelerator program. Over the past 2 days we have learnt and grown so much. Thank you Dhiraagu and Sparkhub for making this possible for us”

A total of 50 participants which included developers’ designers and entrepreneurs competed at the first Angelhack held in the Maldives.

Angelhack Maldives is a part of 60 hackathons over the period 3 months, bringing together more than 10,000+ developers.

This is the first time in Maldives had an opportunity as such to be made available for the tech community to grow further. Due to opportunity tech community of Maldives will be able to access the doors of Silicon Valley.
