Drug-fueled fight between foreigners leave one seriously injured

A fight that broke out in capital Male’ City on Friday night involving two foreigners under the influence of drugs has left one with serious injuries.

RaajjeMV understands that both of them were Indian nationals and that the uninjured foreigner had fled the scene.

Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital’s media official told RaajjeMV that the injured man had wounds on his back and arm, which includes a burst vein, and that he had to undergo surgery.

The hospital said that a third person was injured while trying to break up the fight but he has since been released after receiving treatment for injuries to his chest.

The police media officer said that the fight broke out after a heated argument and that they are now in search of the other foreigner.
