Constituencies of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) held meetings on Saturday night to discuss the details of the party’s strategy for this year’s presidential election.

The main opposition party stated that 15 constituencies held the meetings.

These include constituencies of Velidhoo, Maduvvari, Alifushi, Mathiveri, Maavashu, Gadhdhoo, Eydhafushi, Addu-Meedhoo (Maradhoo-Feydhoo), South Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Feydhoo, Central Fuvahmulah, Milandhoo, Nolhivaram, and Kudahuvadhoo.

During the meetings, constituents discussed MDP’s campaign strategy, manifesto, and the workings of the congress.
