MDP to start manifesto work from Addu
Will revitalize decentralized system of governance
Will open office for manifesto related work
Pledged nation-wide transportation network

Chairperson of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Hassan Latheef has revealed that an office will be opened in Addu City to prepare the Party's manifesto for 2018 Presidential elections.

Speaking in the joint opposition rally in Maamigili island on Thursday evening, Hassan said the office will be opened soon.

The manifesto, he said will be shared among the joint parties and will be used by the parties in the elections.

Hassan Latheef also highlighted on the policies of MDP. He pledged that the joint parties will re-instate the decentralized system of governance; a system that the present administration had irrevocably damaged.

Hassan also touched on the nation-wide transportation network, another key policy implemented in the MDP administration. A fully functional network will provide easy access to travel across the country. This administration, he said, had taken great pains to destroy this system. Hassan also pledged that the joint parties will perfect this system.

He further stressed that all parties should be able to put forth candidates of their choice as their Presidential hopeful. Hassan added that it will be a candidate of the joint parties that takes the oath on November 11, 2018.

Hassan added that the joint opposition had a formula to take down President Yameen without revealing the said formula.
