President Abdulla Yameen launches “Saaskafu ge 17” book at New Year show
President Abdulla Yameen has launched a book compiled by the administration chronicling the highlights of the past 17 years.
“Saaskafu ge 17” (Millennium’s 17) was launched at the New Year show at the carnival area in Male’.
The book highlights areas such as governance and administration in the Maldives, including finance, economy, citizenship and urban development, crises and disasters, domestic affairs and peace, education, health, youth and sports, nationality, sociality, media and technology.
The President was accompanied by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim and senior officials of the government at the New Year show, organized by the tourism ministry and MITDC.
