Trailer released for highly anticipated Maldivian film "Keehve?"

The official trailer for the highly anticipated film "Keehve?" has been released. The project is a collaborative production between some of the industry's most successful houses, including Slam Studio, Noor and Movies, Saturn Studio, and Kid Production.

The release of this trailer has further heightened the anticipation and excitement surrounding the film. After a 25-year hiatus, legendary Maldivian actor Reeko Moosa Manik returns to a leading role, showcasing his masterful and emotive acting prowess throughout the trailer.

In the trailer, Moosa is heard pleading for "one more chance" and provocatively asking, "Should I marry a fourth person too?" These dialogues alone have significantly heightened the anticipation surrounding the film. The trailer offers viewers a glimpse into a narrative centered on complex family dynamics and the painful intricacies of love.

Alongside Moosa, the film features a star-studded cast including Sheela Najeeb, Mariyam Nisha, Shameel, and Dara Rasheed. Unlike typical Maldivian cinema, this production is noted for its focus on the complexities and challenges of midlife.

While the film boasts numerous highlights, one of the most significant is the return of the veteran director Easa Shareef after a 20-year hiatus. The trailer showcases his latest work, revealing high-quality visuals and exceptional cinematic standards.

Tickets for the film's premiere night are currently available for purchase through the website (https://saturnstudio.mv/booking), while bookings for other screenings have been opened via Viber at 7458800. According to the production house, demand for tickets has surged following the release of the film's trailer.

The film is scheduled to have its official grand premiere at a gala event on November 25, 2026.
