Applications open for membership on LGA board

Applications have been opened for membership on the Board of the Local Government Authority (LGA), pursuant to Section 59(a)(2)(iii) of Act No. 7/2010 (The Decentralization Act).
The President's Office has stated that application forms for the position are available for download on its official website. According to the office, applications will be accepted from October 19 until Sunday, November 1, 2026. Submissions can be made at the President's Office on working days between 08:30 and 12:00.
