Nurses Association successfully concludes mental health program supported by BML

The Maldivian Nurses Association (MNA) has successfully concluded "Zaitoon," a mental health rehabilitation program conducted in Hulhumale' Phase 2 with the support of the Bank of Maldives (BML) "Bank Fund."
This program was conducted with the objective of providing support to individuals requiring mental health assistance and their families, while teaching essential life skills and coping mechanisms for challenging situations. Furthermore, the program placed a special emphasis on reintegrating these individuals into society and fostering community inclusion. It also aimed to raise public awareness and challenge the negative perceptions and social stigmas surrounding mental health issues.

Under this program conducted by MNA, various activities were carried out, including training sessions, life skills workshops for healthy living, and community awareness initiatives. Through these efforts, assistance and support have been provided to more than 100 individuals in Hulhumale'.
Bank of Maldives (BML) stated that through its Community Fund, the bank continues to provide consistent support for vital social projects across the country that deliver meaningful and sustainable benefits to the community.
