Minister Muththalib issued notices for over 50 questions from MDP members

Member of Parliament for North Galolhu, Mohamed Ibrahim (Kudu), has revealed that 56 notices for questioning have been sent to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development by MDP members in the People’s Majlis.
In a post on X on Wednesday, the Member stated that MDP lawmakers have submitted a total of 258 questions to government ministers to date. The majority of these inquiries were directed at the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Dr. Abdulla Muththalib. With 56 questions aimed at him alone, the figure remains significantly higher compared to the number of inquiries faced by other cabinet members.
According to details shared by the member, former Finance Minister Moosa Zameer has been presented with 26 questions, while Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed has received 22. Furthermore, Sports Minister Abdulla Rafiu was issued 20 questions, and Finance Minister Hassan Zareer was presented with 19.
Furthermore, 18 questions were sent to Minister of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology Ali Ihusaan, 10 questions to Minister of Health, Family and Welfare Geela Ali, and nine questions to Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.
These eight ministers, who were questioned most frequently, were sent a total of 180 inquiries.
