The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced on Wednesday the appointment of Shereena Salih, of Welcome Villa, S. Hithadhoo, to the post.
The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has announced the appointment of Shereena to the Board of Directors of Addu International Airport Private Limited. The appointment was made pursuant to Article 12 of the Law on Privatization, Corporatization, Monitoring, and Evaluation of State-Owned Enterprises.
Shereena contested the 'Hithadhoo Beyrumathi' constituency seat on a People’s National Congress (PNC) ticket in the most recent local council elections. However, she was unsuccessful in her bid for the seat.
The AIA board is composed of five directors representing the government, which holds a 70 percent stake in the company, and two directors from Kasa Holdings, which owns the remaining 30 percent.
