Residents of Hulhudheli of Dhaalu Atoll have discovered a man’s body afloat off of the island’s shores.
The siting was reported to the Maldives Police Service at 10:30 am on Wednesday.
Eye witnesses reported that he had been in a ‘loose-fitting diving wetsuit’ and was seemingly ‘missing some limbs’.
The police are working to identify the man, and investigating the matter.
