Registrations open for DMRR 2025 corporate team category

DMRR 2025 Corporate Team Category Open for Registration
Dhiraagu has opened registrations for the Corporate Team category of the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) 2025.
As part of the preparations for the upcoming DMRR 2025, Dhiraagu has held a special meeting with various institutions to promote physical fitness among employees of different organizations.
Introduced in 2024, the category allows employees from various institutions to participate as teams of four individuals. Employees from resorts, government agencies, state-owned companies, and the private sector can form teams to represent their respective institutions.
The registration fee for each team is MVR 1,000. Teams paying via DhiraaguPay will receive a discounted rate of MVR 800. The registration fee includes a special includes a special T-shirt for runners, a bib with a timing chip, and a medal. In addition to this, MVR 100 from each participant's registration will be equally distributed among the NGOs participating in the event.
The winning teams in the Corporate Team category will be selected based on the total time taken by all team members to complete the race. All members must finish the 5K race within the cut-off time of 45 minutes.
The prizes for this category are:
- Champion team: MVR 10,000
- Runner-up team: MVR 8,000
- Second runner-up team: MVR 6,000
DMRR is the only international run in the Maldives listed in the World Running Calendar of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) with a World Athletics certified race route. This year's event is scheduled to take place on 24 October 2024, at the Hulhumalé Central Park.
As in previous years, DMRR 2025 is also dedicated to child protection, which is one of the main areas of Dhiraagu's CSR program. This event provides NGOs working in child protection an opportunity to raise public awareness and fundraise.
