The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has revealed that the island nation’s official reserve has dropped in July compared to June.
According to statistics publicized by the country’s central bank, the official reserve stood at USD 774.52 million in July, while it was USD 832.4 million at the end of the previous month.
This represents a decline of approximately six percent in the official reserve.
The central bank went on to reveal that the usable reserve reached USD 213.22 million by the end of July. At the end of June, the usable reserve was USD 203 million. This indicates an increase of five percent.
