Commenting on this, BML’s CEO and MD Shareef said that the unveiling of ATM services in these 10 islands in Baa atoll will bring the total number of islands in which new ATMs have been introduced under the "Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM" program this year to 47.
Shareef described this to be one of the biggest projects the bank has undertaken, and mirrors the bank’s commitment to financial inclusion and supporting local growth.
This strategic expansion further strengthens Bank of Maldives’ position as the country’s leading financial institution, supported by a robust nationwide presence that includes 40 branches across all 20 atolls, 134 Self-Service Banking Centres, 189 ATMs, comprehensive Agent Banking services, and cutting-edge digital banking solutions. In parallel with the growth of its physical footprint, the bank continues to enhance its digital platforms and partner services to better serve the evolving needs of its customers.
