Pres. Muizzu heads to Singapore on unofficial visit

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu made a trip to Singapore in June as well.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed for Singapore on an unofficial trip.
According to the President's Office, President Muizzu left for Singapore on Wednesday night. However, the President's Office has not disclosed any further details regarding the president’s trip.
According to a reliable source, before Muizzu's departure, his wife First Lady Sajidha Mohamed had already traveled to Singapore. President Muizzu left for Singapore on Wednesday night after the departure of Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who had visited the Maldives upon his invitation.
The First Couple had traveled to Singapore on an official visit in June as well. They arrived in Singapore on June 29 and returned to the Maldives on July 2.
Since winning the 2023 presidential election and assuming office, President Muizzu has made numerous trips abroad. These include both official and unofficial visits.
Singapore was the first destination Muizzu visited after winning the presidential election.
