Maldives and Dominica sign visa waiver agreement
The Governments of Maldives and Dominica signed an agreement allowing their respective citizens to travel without a visa for up to 30 days

The Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica have signed a visa waver agreement.
The “Agreement on Mutual Exemption of Visa Requirements for their Respective Citizens” was signed between the Maldives and Dominica last week.
Maldivians can travel to Dominica without a visa and stay in the country for a maximum period of 30 days from the date of entry under the agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that similarly, citizens of Dominica can also travel to the Maldives without obtaining a visa for a period of 30 days.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at the Permanent Mission of the Maldives to the United Nations in New York, USA.
The agreement was signed by Permanent Representative of the Maldives to the United Nations Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed on behalf of the Maldivian government.
On behalf of the Dominican government, Permanent Representative of Dominica to the UN Philbert Aaron signed the visa waiver agreement.
The signing of the visa waiver agreement will facilitate easier travel for citizens of both countries between the two nations and further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
