Ooredoo Maldives has announced the launching of Samsung eSIM-enabled smartwatches, marking a significant technological milestone for the nation. For the first time in the Maldives, customers can stay connected directly through their smartwatch without needing to carry their phones.
The service is currently available for Samsung Watch Ultra 7 LTE devices configured for the Maldives region.
With this advanced technology, users can make calls, send messages, stream music, and access their favorite apps, all directly from their Samsung smartwatch. The integrated eSIM functionality delivers seamless connectivity, providing users with enhanced freedom and convenience, especially while on the go.

The Samsung eSIM wearable service is now available to all Ooredoo Maldives mobile customers, both prepaid and postpaid, at no cost for the first three months. Following the promotional period, the service will be offered at a monthly fee of MVR 199.
