Children's Day is widely celebrated both across the Maldives and globally, with festivities held in numerous regions. In observance of the occasion, schools organize a variety of activities each year. This year, schools in the capital, Malé, once again marked the day with great enthusiasm.

Maafannu Madharusa, where about 400 young children study, has also celebrated Children's Day vibrantly. Maafannu Madharusa prioritizes providing a comfortable and conducive learning environment for the young children who come to study at the school, along with instilling a sense of belonging.

This year, Maafannu Madharusa celebrated Children’s Day with a unique and lively beach theme. The event was designed to give young children a chance to splash in water, bounce on inflatable castles, and enjoy a day of carefree play. To add to the festive spirit, the school provided treats like ice cream, popcorn, and yogurt. Held on Saturday, the celebration brought joy and excitement to every child at the school, their bright, smiling faces reflecting the happiness of a truly memorable day.
