The Football Association of Maldives (FAM) is seeking to appoint a new coach for the Maldives senior national football team.
The national football team was last guided by experienced coach Ali Suzain. However, upon the expiration of his contract with FAM, he has retired from the position of the national team’s coach.
According to FAM's announcement, they are seeking a coach for the national football team for a period of three months.
According to the advertisement published in the gazette by FAM, candidates applying for the position of national football team coach must meet certain requirements.
Accordingly, the candidate must possess an AFC or UEFA Pro License. Alternatively, they must have an equivalent coaching certificate of similar standard. In addition to this, it has been highlighted that the candidate must have six years of experience.
In addition to seeking a coach for the national team, FAM is also on the lookout for a new assistant coach for the national team. Further, they have advertised for the positions of national team doctor and goalkeeper trainer as well.
According to FAM's announcement, the deadline for applying for these positions is April 27.
