The fire broke out on Sunday morning, in Malé City
A fire has broken out in a building on Buruzu Magu, opposite She Building in the capital Malé City.
The incident occurred around 7am on Sunday.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has revealed that the fire broke out in M. Houseplaza.
It has been reported that the building is an abandoned and unoccupied structure.
The building was seen engulfed in massive flames.
A team of MNDF’s Fire and Rescue services worked to extinguish the fire.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) was also active in the area.
The fire was extinguished completely at around 7:30am.
