Mohamed Saeed has stepped down as Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM), barely five months into his tenure.
According to a credible source, Saeed resigned due to increased pressure from the government.
When RaajjeMV attempted to contact Saeed for further information, he failed to answer the station’s calls.
RaajjeMV’s attempts to get clarification from Saeed on the matter has been to no avail.
Saeed was appointed as the MD of PSM on 24 August 2024, following the sudden resignation of PSM's former MD Zeena Zahir.
Saeed holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Bolton in the United Kingdom. He has also studied in the field of media.
Earlier, Saeed served in multiple positions in the education sector, including as Permanent Secretary and Director General at the Ministry of Education, in addition to other educational roles.
