Two individuals have been arrested under accusations of stealing.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that arrested under suspicions of stealing electronic items, were Ismail Vishal, native to capital Malé City and Hussain Shaaif, native to Dharavandhoo island of Baa atoll.
The police institution revealed that the two men were arrested at around 04:05pm on Wednesday.
They were arrested with items believed to have been stolen from someone inside a house in the capital city.
The theft suspects have since been taken into police custody.
Further investigations are currently underway.
