A man is being located in connection with a case lodged at the Criminal Court.
Being located in connection with the case is Adnan, 54 and native to Hithadhoo district of southernmost Addu City.
Adnan is wanted in connection with allegations of refusing to provide a urine sample.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the publication was issued as the authorities’ efforts to locate the suspect and present him before court have been to no avail so far.
The court has ordered MPS to locate the man and take him into police custody.
He is to be presented before court at 1pm on August 4.
The public has been urged to reach out to the Police Custodial Department through 9991442 if any information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect, is attained.
