President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has offered felicitations to the public, on the occasion of the island nation’s 59th anniversary of independence.
In his message to the general public on the occasion of the Maldives’ Independence Day, President Muizzu offered prayers for the Maldives to continue holding on to independence for eternity.
Maldives is celebrating 59 years of independence in 2024.
Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed participated in the commemorative flag-hoisting ceremony on Friday morning.
