A career guidance session has been conducted for students from Mulah island in Meemu atoll.

In a press statement on Wednesday, the Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the session was an initiative of their Public Trust and Confidence Management.

It was conducted for students in Grade 10 on Tuesday.

The session came as part of their ongoing field visit to MPS to gain practical experience.

The session carried the purpose of teaching students the several opportunities within the police institution, as well as to equip them with essential information for their future career decisions.

Questions by the students at the session were addressed by police officers.

MPS officers ensured that students were able to fully immerse themselves in the experience, by enhancing their understanding of the profession.

A flyer and a notebook containing relevant information on career guidance to aid their career planning, were provided to the students.

MPS was presented with a plaque recognizing efforts in facilitating this educational experience, as a token of appreciation by the school.

26 students actively participated in the session, alongside five teachers at Mulah School.

The police institution revealed that this engagement highlighted the commitment of both the school and MPS to the educational and professional development of students nationwide.
