A man has died after falling into the ocean on his motorcycle, in Nolhivaram island of Haa Dhaal atoll.

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received reports of the man being rushed to the Nolhivaram Health Center for treatment, at around 09:15pm on Thursday.

The police institution cited doctors at the island’s health center having revealed that the man passed away some time on Thursday night, while receiving treatment at the island’s health center.

According to MPS, deceased in the incident was a 32-year-old Maldivian man.

No further details of the incident were disclosed by the authorities.

However, further investigations are currently underway, into the death of the motorcyclist.
