The teenager who was reported missing has been located.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) in a post on social media platform ‘X’ on Thursday morning, revealed that the girl went missing from Malé City on Wednesday.
Reported missing was 14-year-old Khadheeja Yalvy.
Police launched a search for the teenager on Wednesday, after she was reported missing by her family.
MPS cited the family having revealed that the girl was last spotted on June 14.
She was found some time after sundown on Wednesday.
According to the police institution, she was found safe and in good health.
MPS did not disclose any further details regarding where she was found and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
