Summons notice published
Summons publicized for man accused of fraud
The case is being investigated by the police station in Ihavandhoo island of Haa Alif atoll
The summons was issued in accordance with section 27 of the Code of Criminal Procedure
Summoned is Adam Rasheed, 38 and native to capital Malé City

A man linked to cases of fraud, has been publicly summoned.

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) on Tuesday publicized the summons notice for the man who is wanted in connection with an ongoing probe into a case of fraud.

MPS revealed that the case is being investigated by the police station in Ihavandhoo island of Haa Alif atoll.

The summons was issued in accordance with section 27 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to be followed by the police while investigating criminal cases.

The police institution revealed that the summons notice was publicized as the authority’s efforts to locate the suspect and handover his summons notice have been to no avail so far, and as the MPS has been unable to track him down.

Summoned is Adam Rasheed, 38 and native to capital Malé City.

The suspect is to present himself to the Sergeant Adam Haleem Crime Investigation Building or the police station closest to him at 11am on June 24.
