Fathimath Habeeba has been appointed as a member of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed Habeeba as a CSC member on Tuesday.
The ceremony to hand over her Letter of Appointment was held at the President’s Office on Tuesday morning.
Supreme Court Justice Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim administered her oath of office.
After the oath-taking ceremony, President Muizzu presented the newly inducted member, with her official Letter of Appointment.
The People’s Majlis approved her appointment as a member of the commission on 29 April 2024.
A vote was also taken to appoint Haseeb Ismail to the post. However, his appointment was not approved.
Habeeba has been serving as the Director General of the Civil Service Training Institute since 9 December 2010.
The post of CSC member became vacant after the term of Fathimath Amira, a member of the commission, expired.
The commission currently consists of President Mohamed Nasih, Vice President Ibrahim Rasheed, member Mohamed Farusath and member Fathimath Shareef.
