Gov’t to organize exhibition to improve economy, productivity
The decision stemmed from deliberations on a paper submitted during a Cabinet Meeting held on Sunday

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will jointly organize and run the exhibition alongside the Business Center Corporation

An exhibition is to be held to improve economic growth and productivity across the island nation.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu reached the decision to organize an exhibition aimed at boosting the country's productivity and fostering economic growth, on Sunday.

The decision stemmed from deliberations on a paper submitted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, during a Cabinet Meeting held on Sunday.

After Sunday’s cabinet meeting, the president resolved to hold an exhibition named 'Dhivehinge Ufehdhuntherikamuge Maurazu' in May next year.

The exhibition carries the purpose of increasing productivity and expanding business in the Maldives.

In addition to this, the cabinet decided to contest the exhibition in multiple fields including the creative economy sector, the digital and innovative sector, the entertainment sector as well as the marketplace sector.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will jointly organize and run the exhibition alongside the Business Center Corporation (BCC).

In a bid to ensure the annual continuation of the exhibition, the president announced other important decisions during Sunday’s discussions with his Cabinet of Ministers.
