President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with Maldivian students in Madinah.
The meeting took place on Saturday, as part of the president’s ongoing visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah pilgrimage.
24 Maldivian students in Madinah attended the meeting and discussed their needs and concerns with the president.
Listening to these concerns, the president assured them that he would examine the issues raised and work to seek efficient solutions.
President Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed departed to Saudi Arabia on Friday.
They are travelling to perform Umrah on the gracious hospitality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Center Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff the President's Office Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office Abdulla Nasir are accompanying the president on the Umrah trip.
The first couple’s delegation is travelling on an aircraft arranged by the Saudi government.
