President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has offered condolences following the passing of Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
The Maldivian leader sent separate messages to the King of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on Monday.
In his messages, Muizzu expressed his deep sorrow in learning of the death of the Saudi Prince.
President Muizzu stated that Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud was regarded as a symbol of generosity and wisdom, in addition to being a well-known poet and literary icon in Saudi Arabia.
The Maldivian leader highlighted that future generations would value his important contributions to the culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Muizzu added that the people of Maldives join him in praying for the deceased.
He also wished the King, the Crown Prince and the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia strength to get through this time of grief.
