Ooredoo nation EAFC Series, Season 1 ge Championakah Zameel

Ooredoo Maldives has announced the winners of the Ooredoo Nation EAFC Maldives Championship Contender Series 1.

The telecommunications provider revealed that the Ooredoo Nation EAFC Maldives Championship Contender Series 1 wrapped up on April 20, at their headquarters.

The games kicked off at the Ooredoo Headquarters in Hulhumalé on April 18. Ooredoo Chief Technology Officer Malkhan Singh Tanwar and Director of Operations Shabeen Ali competed in the opening game, to kick off the tournament. Ooredoo revealed that the stage was set for a thrilling showdown with this tournament being the first of many to come in 2024 and that they have an exciting year planned, as the preferred network of gamers.

Throughout the two-day festivities, Ooredoo observed a steady crowd and players competed fiercely, vying for the top spots and a share of the prize pool.

The tournament was held in partnership with Maldives E-sports Association (MESA).

Mohamed Zameel Zihny was crowned the champion of the Ooredoo Nation EAFC Maldives Championship Contender Series 1, with Raaidh Hassan becoming the runner-up and Mohamed Rishfan Ahmed coming in third.

The EAFC Maldives Championship Contender Series 1 promised a prize pool of MVR 15,000, with MVR 8,000 promised to the first-place winner, MVR 4,500 to the second-place winner and MVR 2,500 for the third-place winner.

Ooredoo Nation brought the community together, fostering camaraderie and a spirit of healthy competition, alongside providing a platform for competitive gaming.

As esports is a rapidly growing industry, Ooredoo is committed to support its development in the Maldives.

The telecommunications provider revealed that this year, they are also on the hunt for the “ultimate” player and to win it, gamers will have to excel at all three-game series.

As the ultimate player of Ooredoo Nation Gamers Land, the champion is not just a winner but a “legend” in the making, etching their name into the records of gaming history.

Ooredoo revealed that the Ultimate Player stands as a “beacon” of inspiration for gamers everywhere, a reminder that with skill, determination, and a “touch of magic”, anything is possible in the world of gaming.
