Details of 10 sites where waste is often dumped on the roads of the congested capital, Malé City, has been publicized.
This was revealed by Malé City Mayor Adam Azim, in a post on social media platform ‘X’.
Some of the locations include:
- Alamaa Goalhi
- Kenery Goalhi
- Hadheebee Magu
- Odion Goalhi
- Maaveyo Magu Fathaha curb
- Kaasinjee Magu, Henveiru Sahara curb
- Maafannu Pizza Buona curb
- Dhilbahaaru Magu, Dhagandu Kendige road curb
- The narrow road in front of Jamaluddin School.
The city council has been identifying those dumping garbage on the streets of the capital and has sought public assistance, asking to provide photos and videos of such individuals to the City Council through 9341144 on WhatsApp or Viber, or to share such information through their website.
