Six plots from the newly-reclaimed land in Maafushi island of Kaafu atoll have been opened for sale, as part of the island’s land use plan.
Maafushi island council has opened the opportunity for those interested in buying land plots from the newly-reclaimed area, to buy bid documents and submit their bids.
According to the council, the land is priced at MVR 2,000 per square foot.
Further, the council added that bid documents will be sold at the council’s reception from 9am to 1pm on all working days between March 24 and April 24.
A set of bid documents is priced at MVR 30,000 each.
The bidding process will begin on May 5.
